BEFORE ACCEPTANCE AND ETIQUETTE

  1. Please, read all of the rules and the provided information to get a better idea of the settings. If you have any questions, message MAHOUHQS and the admin team will reply to you within 24 hours.

  2. If you have an asianfanfics account, we advise you to subscribe to the asianfanfics thread to be updated about the roleplay. Your asianfanfics/Tumblr account has to be at least a month old for you to apply.

  3. You can reserve your faceclaim or a limited position for 48 hours. Reservations expire at midnight GMT. Reservations can be extended for a further 24 hours if the mun requests so. We only allow the muns with age above 18 and faceclaims with age above 20 internationally, both Asian and Internationals that are active in the entertainment industry. We do not accept social media personalities and influencers, adult movie actors, those requested to not be roleplay or have criminal records.

  4. Race-bending is not allowed, please use surnames related to your faceclaim's ethnicity. You can change the nationality of your muse or have a non-ethnic name. Remember this is an OC rp, please do not use the same name as your faceclaim.

  5. You are allowed to change the faceclaim or muse background a week after your acceptance for the first time. The second change is allowed two weeks after the first one.

  6. Out of Character drama will not be tolerated. In case of problems with another member of the community, please approach us via private message. In Character drama, on the other hand, is allowed as long as both sides acknowledge it.

  7. Anyone caught  plagiarizing will be instantly banned. We do not tolerate it in any sort of form. This means no copying of muse or writing etc. We understand inspiration is a thing but there’s a difference between that and straight up stealing.

  8. Usage of muse's powers to dominate others, God-modding and metagaming will not be tolerated, therefore, refrain from doing it unless the mun has given you permission to do so.

  9. Bubble roleplaying is never allowed and if we catch onto any cliques being formed between muns then you will receive a warning. In case the action continues, you may be asked to leave the roleplay.

  10. Any form of pregnancy is not allowed, any kind of love is allowed but we do forbid professor-student relationships due to the implications. You can plot the arranged marriage, lovers or any similar plots but please, do not let those plots lead you to interact with only one person.

  11. Mature themes are allowed as long as the proper trigger warning is given above the post.

  12. If you are leaving, inform us via the base account or if you have to deactivate, please, message us from asianfanfics. Failure to do so might lead to the mun to be banned.

CREATING YOUR MUSE

  1. Please check the masterlist list to be sure your desired faceclaim is available.

  2. Check related pages while building your muse and do not hesitate to message us if you have a question.

  3. If your muse has a unique ability that wasn’t listed in our limited position or has what you believe to be an uncommon background, please run it by us first. We’d love to work together with you to ensure it fits the lore.

  4. Please keep your muse's age around your faceclaim's. You are allowed to add or subtract 2 years.

  5. Keep in mind that your muse can not be a relative of major canon characters of Harry Potter or can be as strong as they are. (Your muse can’t be a child of Dumbledore or can’t be as dark and powerful as Voldemort.) Please limit your muse’s skills and let them have weaknesses as well.

  6. You have one month to provide a completed biography of your muse. However, we still ask you to give us at least a paragraph long summary or description of your muse within a week for others to easily approach you for plotting purposes. Failure to do so will lead to the removal from the roleplay.

  7. Please apply using the application form and once you’re done, send a direct message to the MAHOUHQS with the format: 

[Faceclaim Name] as [Muse Name], the student / professor applied to Mahoutokoro School of Magic.​

SECOND CHARACTER

  1. We allow muns to have a second character if they meet the following qualifications:

    • They must be in the roleplay for three weeks,​

    • Must have a biography posted for their first muse,

    • Must have five active/ongoing plots with different muses.

  2. Faceclaim of the second muse can't be from the same group of your first muse.

  3. If you have taken a limited position with your first muse, you can’t take one for your second one. This ensures that everyone who wishes to join can have an opportunity.

  4. Upon having a second character, we expect them to be active in both accounts. In case of inactivity, we have a right to approach the mun to ask them to remove one of their muses.

  5. Please do not apply with a second muse without admin approval, message the base account when you want to apply for a second character.

ACCEPTANCE AND ACTIVITY

  1. Upon being accepted, you will have 48 hours to add the base account. Please only use English characters (not any fonts or emojis) in your account name for us to be able to tag you easily and add ”Mahoutokoro” anywhere in your profile alongside your occupation and house.​

  2. You will have 48 hours to answer Mahoutokoro Application Interview and post them to the related group. Details will be given by the base account upon your arrival.

  3. Activity is based on in-character public interactions and threads, please try to reply to at least one thread in a week. If you fail to be active within two weeks after your arrival, you'll be removed from the roleplay. You can't ask for a hiatus in the week of your arrival, please join if you think you can be around a couple of days in a week and interact with others. The longest hiatus is up to ten days, whereas semi-hiatus is for fifteen days.

  4. Do not add anyone before the admin team announces your arrival or if you are a member already, do not add anyone before the admin team announces their arrival. This is a closed roleplay, only add people within the community and make your friend list visible for admins to check if it is updated. It is the mun’s responsibility to keep their contact list updated, failure to do so will lead to a warning.

  5. Change your account settings as follows:

    • Feed References: Home and My Groups to “New Posts.”​​​​

    • Privacy and Sharing: Contact List Visibility to “Allow my contacts to see my list of Mewe contacts.”
